Keep training calm
Use brief cues rather than continuous activation, keeping the device away from your dog’s face and ears. Once you get their attention, redirect them and reinforce the desired behaviour with praise or rewards.
Stop using the device if your dog shows fear, freezing, distress or avoidance.
Ultrasound may also be detected by other animals nearby. Response varies according to the individual dog, hearing, distance and surrounding environment.
Not every behaviour needs a device. This product isn't a treatment for aggression, anxiety or persistent behavioural problems and doesn't replace consistent reward-based training.
