Measure before choosing a size

Pet sizes are not standard across products. Always use the measurements and size chart on the individual product page; breed names and labels such as Small, Medium or Large are not enough on their own.

What to measure

• Neck: measure where a collar naturally sits without pulling the tape tight.
• Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, usually just behind the front legs.
• Back length: measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail while your pet is standing naturally.
• Paw width: place the paw on paper with normal weight on it and measure the widest point.

How to compare the result

Compare every required measurement with the chart for the exact product and option. If measurements point to different sizes, or your pet falls between sizes, contact us before ordering rather than assuming that sizing up is always correct.

Fit and safety check

After delivery, inspect the fit before extended use. The item should not restrict breathing or movement, rub sensitive areas, or allow the pet to slip out. Follow the product instructions and supervise use when appropriate.
