A de-shedding comb with a release button: press it and the collected hair lifts clear of the teeth in one piece, instead of you picking it out by hand every few strokes.

Honest limits
A note on the material: this listing previously described stainless steel. The supplier's specification says PP and TPR — plastic and rubber — so that's what we've published. If you need a steel-toothed de-shedder, this isn't it.
De-shedding tools remove dead undercoat. Used too hard or too often they'll thin the healthy topcoat as well — light pressure, a few minutes, not a daily scrub.
