Honest limits
Retractable leads are for open space, not pavements. At 5 m your dog can reach a road before you can react, and the thin tape gives rope burn if it wraps a leg — yours or theirs. Lock it short in traffic and around other dogs.
Clip it to a harness, not a collar. A dog hitting the end of 5 m at speed puts real force through whatever it's attached to.
The supplier doesn't state a maximum dog weight. We won't guess one — if your dog is a strong puller, choose a fixed-length lead with a declared rating instead.
